Job summary

Qualifications
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant Qualification
- Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC)
- Willing and able to work retail hours
Responsibilities
- Dispense medications under direct personal supervision of a pharmacist
- Capture script details accurately and verify patient details on the system
- Ensure accurate picking/packing/labeling and checking of medication
- Provide instructions regarding correct use of medicine
- Process all paperwork for submission of claims to medical schemes
- Maintain customer profiles on the system
- Stock control and bi-annual stock takes
- Adhere to Dis-Chem policies and health and safety rules
- Assist patients at the dispensary and front-shop
