Dis-Chem Pharmacies require the services of a reputable Post Basic Qualified Pharmacist Assistant (Fixed-Term) for their South Coast store. Your portfolio will cover the provision of pharmaceutical care by taking responsibility for the patient's medicine-related needs, and being accountable for meeting these needs.

The role requires SAPC registration, Matric, and a Basic Pharmacist Assistant qualification, with advantageous knowledge in retail, Unisolv, and oncology.

Qualificações

• Grade 12 / Matric required.
• Basic Pharmacist Assistance qualification.
• Registered with SAPC.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with sale of Schedule 1-5 medicines.
• Assist compounding and preparation of non-sterile medicines per SOP.
• Assist with manufacturing of non-sterile medicines per SOP.
• Assist with repackaging of medicine.
• Assist with stock control and ordering up to Schedule 6.
• Read and prepare prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
• Interpret scripts and ensure legal compliance with SAPC.
• Accurately capture script details and verify patient details.
• Provide information and assist patients at the dispensary and front shop.
• Process paperwork for medical aid claims and reconcile rejections.
• Maintain customer profiles and stock integrity.
• Participate in stock takes and FEFO merchandising.
