Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Coordinator for our client in Paarl to manage flow of materials and products, ensuring timely delivery of raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods.

You will work with procurement, logistics, manufacturing, and distribution teams; ensure GDP compliance and product traceability; optimize inventory and safeguard regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
• Proven experience in supply chain coordination, preferably in pharma or regulated industry.
• Strong understanding of logistics, inventory management and warehousing.
• Knowledge of GDP and pharmaceutical supply chain regulations.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills; problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and supply chain software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end pharmaceutical supply chain including procurement, inventory, warehousing and distribution.
• Liaise with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal departments to ensure timely movement of goods.
• Monitor inventory levels; optimize stock and minimize stock-outs.
• Ensure GDP and pharmaceutical storage compliance.
• Track shipments and manage customs documentation.
• Collaborate with QA on recalls, returns and traceability.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with quality assurance to manage product recalls, returns, and ensure product traceability.
