About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Manager to optimize their logistics and distribution network in the Upington region. This role is essential for ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of pharmaceutical products while maintaining product integrity and regulatory compliance. You will oversee all aspects of the supply chain, from procurement and inventory management to warehousing and distribution, working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of pharmaceutical supply chain best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic supply chain initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.
• Manage inventory levels across multiple locations, ensuring adequate stock while minimizing holding costs and preventing stockouts.
• Oversee the selection and management of third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant pharmaceutical regulations, including cold chain management and traceability requirements.
