Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Analyst for a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in George. You will ensure quality and safety of products through rigorous testing and analysis within a dedicated QA team.

The role requires 3+ years in QC labs, a chemistry or pharmaceutical science degree, and strong GMP/GLP knowledge. Hybrid work arrangement and opportunities to contribute to patient well-being are offered.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical quality control laboratory.
Solid understanding of GMP/GLP and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and non-routine testing of materials and products using analytical techniques (HPLC, GC, UV-Vis).
Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment for accuracy and readiness.
Document testing procedures and results per GLP and GMP standards.
Investigate out-of-specification results, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Prepare certificates of analysis and other quality documents for product release.
Support internal and external audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
