Placements24 seeks a Quality Control Analyst for a pharmaceutical laboratory in Pretoria. You will perform analytical tests using HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, and titration, and meticulously document results to ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related fields and at least 2 years in QC or analytical labs, preferably pharma. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy or a related field.
• 2+ years in Quality Control/analytical lab, preferably pharma.
• Experience with analytical instruments (HPLC, GC, dissolution).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine analytical tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, and titration.
• Prepare reagents, standards, and samples for analysis accurately and efficiently.
• Document testing procedures and results in compliance with cGMP and SOPs.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment for accuracy.
• Investigate OOS results and deviations and contribute to root-cause analysis.
• Assist in review and approval of QC batch records.
