Placements24 is seeking a Production Planner in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga, to schedule all production activities to meet demand while optimizing resources. You will work with production, procurement, and QA teams to maintain seamless operations in a highly regulated pharma environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 4+ years of production planning experience, with strong MRP/ERP knowledge and scheduling proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in production planning, preferably in pharma or highly regulated manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of MRP and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacity.
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
• Monitor production progress against schedules and address deviations or delays.
• Collaborate with quality assurance to ensure adherence to GMP and regulatory standards.
• Optimize production runs to minimize changeover times and maximize efficiency.
