Job summary

Biovac seeks a dynamic Network Engineer to join our sterile vaccine manufacturing environment in South Africa. You will provide expert-level network support, maintain infrastructure, and mentor IT staff across multiple sites. Strong Fortinet experience and knowledge of OT environments are essential.

The role requires independent work and teamwork, with a focus on security, incident response, and service improvement initiatives within a GMP-adjacent setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or National Diploma in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field
• CompTIA Network+ certification desirable
• Fortinet NSE Level 1–3 or equivalent networking certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level technical network support to end-users and business units.
• Maintain and administer network infrastructure, including monitoring, updates, and firmware.
• Lead and mentor IT technicians, coordinating with stakeholders and managing timelines.
