Placements24 is seeking a highly accomplished Petroleum Geologist to join our remote exploration team. You will analyze seismic data, well logs, and core samples to evaluate hydrocarbon prospects and construct robust geological models for reservoir assessment.

The role requires independence in a remote-first environment, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with geoscientists and engineers to drive successful exploration campaigns worldwide.

Qualifications

About the Role

You will be responsible for integrating diverse datasets, including seismic, well logs, and core samples, to construct robust geological models and assess reservoir potential. Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Expertise in seismic interpretation, well log analysis, and geological modeling software (e.g., Petrel, Kingdom Suite).
• Strong understanding of structural geology, sedimentology, and basin evolution.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills suitable for a remote role.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects effectively in a remote-first environment.
