Job summary

J2E Placements, on behalf of a leading Automotive Service Centre in Centurion, seeks a qualified Petrol/Diesel Technician with 5+ years' modern workshop experience to start immediately.

You will service and repair both petrol and diesel vehicles, diagnose faults, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure safety and regulatory standards are met. Valid license and own transport are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a modern workshop
• Skilled in servicing both Petrol and Diesel Vehicles
• Proven experience as a Diesel or Petrol Mechanic
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical issues
• Valid License and Own Transport

Responsibilities

• Full Diesel Mechanic duties – (Fleet of trucks and vehicles)
• Perform diagnostic, repair, and maintenance services on diesel and petrol vehicles
• Conduct routine inspections of vehicles to ensure proper operation
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems and provide solutions for repair
• Replace faulty components
• Ensure all repairs comply with safety and regulatory standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Keep accurate records of maintenance work and parts used
• Work effectively with the team to ensure timely vehicle repairs and minimize downtime

Petrol / Diesel Technician position available in Centurion.

One of our large Automotive Service Centre Clients based in Centurion, are urgently in need of a Qualified Petrol / Diesel Technician within Industry Experience to start immediately, or as soon as possible.

We are looking for a professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a modern workshop, who is skilled in servicing and repairing both petrol and diesel vehicles.

Salary: R22 000 (Plus incentives and other benefits) depending on experience.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Qualified Diesel or Petrol Mechanic (Red Seal qualification obtained)
• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a modern workshop
