Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Sports Performance Analyst to join a high-performance sports organization in East London, Eastern Cape. This hybrid role involves collecting, interpreting, and presenting data to drive performance improvements for athletes and coaching staff.

You will apply video analysis, GPS data and statistical methods to inform training plans, game strategy, and opponent scouting, translating complex findings into actionable insights for decision-makers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field as listed.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in sports performance analysis or similar.
• Proficiency with video analysis software (Hudl, Dartfish) and data tools (Excel, SQL, Python, R).
• Strong understanding of sports principles and performance metrics.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data into understandable insights.
• East London/Eastern Cape experience is beneficial.
