You will work closely with coaches to translate data into actionable insights, develop statistical models, and present findings through clear reports and visualizations. A hybrid schedule with on-site and remote work is expected.

Formación

• Degree in Sports Science, Performance Analysis, Data Science or related field.
• Proven experience as a Performance Analyst in a professional football environment or elite sports.
• Proficiency in Hudl, Sportscode, Wyscout and statistical tools (R, Python).
• Strong understanding of football tactics, strategies and biomechanics.

About the Role

Our client, a highly successful professional football club based in Durban , is seeking a talented and analytical Performance Analyst to join their technical team. This role is integral to enhancing team and individual player performance through detailed data collection, analysis, and reporting. The Performance Analyst will work closely with the coaching staff to provide actionable insights that inform tactical decisions, training strategies, and player development. This is a hybrid role, requiring a balance of on-site presence at the training ground and stadium, with opportunities for remote work. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of football tactics, and proficiency in various data analysis software.

Key Responsibilities
