Time Personnel in Cape Town seeks a People Development Manager to lead and develop Managers in a fast-growing, data-driven environment. You will empower leaders, foster a positive culture, and drive scalable operational excellence.

Responsibilities include coaching multi-tier teams, monitoring KPIs, improving training structures, and collaborating with Engineering and Support to enhance processes and delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience managing within a multi-tier structure across managers, team leads and operators.
• Strong background in operations management.
• Proven experience leading managers and high-performing teams.
• Experience using data to identify opportunities and drive process improvements.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
• Collaborative leadership with accountability and continuous improvement.
• Highly organized with strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Experience with reporting and spreadsheets; familiarity with workflow systems.
• Experience designing and delivering training and capability-building initiatives.
• Resilient, adaptable and able to perform in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop Team Leads and Managers.
• Support ownership of the quality and consistency of daily operations.
• Monitor team and data performance against KPIs and trends.
• Ensure high standards of validation, accuracy, and consistency.
• Own and improve quality control frameworks, workflow processes and training structures.
• Manage escalations above Team Lead level and remove blockers.
• Apply Agile practices to guide Team Leads and maintain organized delivery.
• Plan and manage capacity and pipeline across teams.
• Optimise workflows, identify inefficiencies and measure impact.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Customer Support, and other teams to improve processes.
• Build and streamline training programmes for new hires and existing staff.
• Report progress, risks, and recommendations to the Director.
