Job summary

Syntech Distribution is seeking a skilled PC Assembly Technician in Cape Town to assemble, test, and troubleshoot custom-built PCs. The role emphasizes precise cable management, cooling installation, and timely QA to meet PCBuilder standards.

The ideal candidate has Grade 12, IT product knowledge, OS familiarity (Windows/Linux/Android), and A+ certification or equivalent. Strong communication, organisation, and the ability to perform under pressure are essential.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent is required.
• A+ Certification or equivalent is preferred.
• Solid knowledge of IT products and operating systems is beneficial.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good organisation and planning capability.
• Strong problem analysis and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assemble desktops, mini-PCs and upgrade kits to PCBuilder standards.
• Install AIO water cooling and manage cable routing inside gaming desktops.
• Report incompatibilities and faults to the Assembly manager.
• Ensure machines are assembled, tested and completed timely.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assembling of Desktops, mini-PCs & upgrade kits to PCBuilder standards

• Ensure machines are assembled, tested & completed in a timely manner
