Job summary

Skills Connector is seeking a Payroll Manager in South Africa to manage payroll services for external clients and support the payroll team. The ideal candidate holds a qualification in Payroll, Accounting or HR, with at least three years of payroll experience handling external clients.

Strong PaySpace proficiency, leadership and organisational skills are essential. You will process client payrolls, handle EMP201 returns, EMP501 reconciliations, IRP5 certificates, UIF and COIDA matters, liaise

WE REQUIRE:

• A relevant qualification in Payroll, Accounting, HR or a related field
• At least three years’ relevant payroll experience, including managing a wide variety of external clients
• Strong practical PaySpace experience
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and confidential information.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Process and manage clients’ payrolls using PaySpace.
• Handle EMP201 returns, EMP501 reconciliations and IRP5 certificates.
• Manage UIF and COIDA/Compensation Fund matters.
• Liaise with clients, resolve queries and provide payroll advice.
• Supervise and support payroll clerks, review their work and ensure accuracy, compliance and timely processing.
