Frogg Recruitment presents a Payroll Administrator vacancy in Epping, Cape Town. Salary is between R25 000 and R30 000 per month. On-site position with strong emphasis on accuracy and timely payroll submissions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–4 years’ payroll administration experience using SAGE VIP.
• Certification in Sage Payroll is highly advantageous.
• SAPA accreditation is advantageous.
• Solid knowledge of South African payroll legislation (PAYE, UIF, SDL, ETI, BCEA, LRA, COIDA, POPIA).

Responsibilities

• Full Payroll Administration for 250 staff on SAGE payroll/SAGE VIP.
• HR & Payroll Processing.
• Process monthly/weekly/fortnightly payrolls accurately and on time using Sage Payroll.
• Capture new employees, terminations, promotions, transfers, and salary adjustments.
• Process overtime, commissions, bonuses, allowances, and deductions.
• Calculate and submit PAYE, UIF, and SDL via monthly EMP201 submissions on SARS eFiling.
• Complete bi-annual and annual EMP501 reconciliations using SARS e@syFile and Sage.
• Ensure compliance with BCEA, Income Tax Act, and applicable Bargaining Council/Sectoral Determinations.
• Reconcile and process payments to third parties (medical aid, retirement/provident funds, garnishees, unions).
• Administer employee benefits including medical aid, pension/provident fund contributions, and group risk schemes.
• Generate standard and custom payroll reports from Sage (cost-to-company, headcount, leave liability, GL reports).
• Prepare payroll journals and assist Finance with general ledger reconciliations.
