About the job: Payroll Administrator (External Applications Only)
Administrate payroll payments and processes.
Requirements
- Minimum Grade 12 or NQF 4
- Ability to communicate in English
- Communication skills
- Previous experience (minimum 1 year) is an advantage (full training will be provided)
- Valid ID or passport with applicable work permit
- Ability to communicate with internal customers
Key Performance Areas
- Third-party payments: Meet deadlines for payments, compile reports, do EFT payments, and ensure GL reconciliations have no outstanding issues longer than 60 days.
- Queries: Provide feedback within standard query deadlines and escalate if necessary, keep records, and inform management.
- Payment of payroll salaries: Meet deadlines and cut-off dates for various payroll categories, ensure data input accuracy, and comply with statutory requirements.
- Administration & record keeping: Complete new employee files on time, meet audit standards, update leave records, and maintain filing systems.
- Reporting: Monthly reports to managers, proactive reporting on overtime, leave, disability, sick leave, and third-party payments.
