Job summary

Capital H Staffing and Advisory Solutions is assisting a leading payments provider in Stellenbosch to recruit a Business Analyst. The role focuses on translating business needs into clear requirements and bridging business with technical teams across multiple projects.

You will document requirements, support UAT, backlog grooming, and maintain BA artifacts while ensuring alignment with payment-product strategies in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in a related field.
• 3–5 years of business analysis experience.
• Strong understanding of the payments environment (retailers, digital, banking, card schemes, EFT, settlement, acquiring).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Draw.IO, Jira, Confluence and Visio.
• Fluent in business English; additional languages beneficial.
• Valid driver’s license and own transport.

Responsibilities

• Gathering and documenting business and reporting requirements.
• Translating business needs into functional documentation.
• Documenting procedures and workflows.
• Supporting project delivery and backlog grooming within the PMO.
• Managing requirement changes and maintaining BA documentation.
• Supporting UAT and ensuring features meet requirements.
• Continuously improving analysis tools and processes.
• All other tasks related to the role.

Education

Relevant tertiary qualification

Business Analysis experience (3-5 years)
