Paysoft (Pty) Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented Payments / Reconciliation Administrator responsible for accurate payment processing, daily-to-monthly bank reconciliations, and resolving discrepancies. The role requires maintaining precise financial records, monitoring queues, and ensuring service levels are met while adhering to internal policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in payment processing, financial administration, banking or a similar finance related role
• Experience performing bank reconciliations
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities

• Process payment transactions accurately and within required timeframes
• Perform daily, weekly and monthly bank reconciliations
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and reconciliation differences
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
• Monitor payment processing queues and ensure service level commitments are met
• Prepare and maintain reports
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, banking requirements and operational procedures
• Identify process improvements and proactively resolve operational issues
