Job summary

University of Fort Hare in Durban North is seeking an experienced Patternmaker to develop accurate ladieswear patterns using Lectra. You will create patterns for blouses, dresses, skirts, pants and jackets, translating designs into production-ready files.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years of Lectra patternmaking experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced garment manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in Lectra patternmaking.
• Strong hands-on experience using Lectra is essential.
• Proven experience creating patterns for ladieswear.
• Good understanding of garment construction, fit and grading.
• Valid driver's licence.
