Job summary

TFG, known as Foschini Group, is seeking a Grader Intern in Cape Town to assist in pattern creation, grading and garment construction in a fast-paced fashion environment. You will work with designers, technologists and factory teams to ensure accuracy in pattern-making and garment fitting.

Responsibilities include creating patterns with Lectra, liaising with design and sample rooms, taking measurements, attending Fit Sessions and supporting quality control with factories.

Qualifications

• Matric (High School Diploma).
• A Pattern Making/Grading certification or qualification is required.
• Experience with Lectra Windows System is advantageous.
• Strong Garment Construction knowledge.

• Liaise with Designers and the Sample Room to ensure garment requirements are met.
• Measure garments and perform grading tasks.

• Handle queries from factories regarding pattern and grading specifications.
