Job summary

Groupe CFAO in South Africa is seeking a Parts Picker/Packer/Driver to join our automotive parts operation. You will pick parts according to slips, pack orders, and assist in dispatch to workshops or customers, while maintaining accurate stock location and neat warehousing conditions.

The role requires good English communication, a valid Code 8 driver's license, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving retail motor environment. Reliability and professional conduct are essential.

Responsibilities

• Pick parts as per picking slip/invoice to issue to workshop/customer/dispatch.
• Check daily and stock order parts against packing slip/invoice and bin in the correct bin location.
• Do perpetual stock checks and check physical count against computer count.
• Keep warehouse neat, clean and tidy and ensure that all parts are stored in their correct bin location.
• Ensure all parts are correctly labeled.
• Update superseded parts with superseded part numbers/bin location.
• Check all returned parts for correctness and/or damage.
• Ensure that all parts picked by yourself are checked by another picker/packer.
• Assist with stock takes and bi-annual stock-take.
• Ad hoc admin/other responsibilities as required.
• Be able to converse in a professional manner with customers.
