Job summary

Scania South Africa is seeking a Parts Advisor to service workshop personnel and customers by efficiently fulfilling part requests and maintaining storeroom standards. You will coordinate with the workshop to ensure parts availability and integrity of stock while upholding safety and cleanliness in the warehouse.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation, excellent customer service, and adherence to health and safety regulations within a busy automotive environment.

Qualifications

• Basic high school education is required.
• Technical experience or qualification is preferred.
• Experience in automotive warehouse environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Pick and deliver correct parts to customers and workshop on time.
• Pack parts and arrange delivery or pickup.
• Complete invoices, payment and other paperwork accurately.
• Build and maintain customer relationships with excellent service.
• Coordinate with Workshop to ensure parts availability and correct procedures.
• Receive, inspect and sort incoming goods and stock.
• Monitor stock levels and organise stock takes as required.
• Maintain clean, safe, and orderly warehouse areas.
• Comply with Health and Safety regulations.
