Job summary

Cls is seeking an experienced Factory Foreman to oversee the Parts Finishing Department. You will coordinate production activities, supervise staff and ensure quality standards and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, scheduling maintenance, interpreting drawings, monitoring KPIs and enforcing health and safety policies across shifts. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in a similar role and a National Senior Certificate.

Qualifications

• National Senior Certificate required.
• 3–5 years' proven experience in a similar foreman role.
• Experience operating conventional milling and turning machines.
• Able to interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong quality management and production coordination skills.
• Experience supervising employees and managing workflow.
• Maintenance of production equipment and machinery.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Computer literacy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all Parts Finishing Department activities.
• Plan workflow, allocate resources and meet production targets.
• Mentor staff and support finishing processes when needed.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for factory machinery.
• Monitor finishing processes to ensure client specifications and conduct quality checks.
• Complete work orders and production reports accurately and on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area.
