Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Retail Inventory Clerk for our Queenstown store to manage stock control and maintain inventory accuracy. You will receive, count, organize, and track merchandise to ensure products are available for customers.

This part-time role emphasizes precision and reliability, requiring attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift and stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory management or warehousing is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unpack, and accurately record incoming inventory shipments.
• Conduct regular stock counts and cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy against records.
• Organize and maintain the stockroom, ensuring efficient storage and accessibility of merchandise.
• Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or shortages in inventory.
• Assist with the implementation of inventory control procedures and best practices.
• Update inventory management systems with accurate stock data.
