Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Inventory Clerk for a part-time position in Mossel Bay, Western Cape. You will support inventory control, perform cycle counts, and ensure accurate stock data, helping reduce discrepancies and improve warehouse efficiency.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar inventory control role.
• Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Perform cycle counts and physical inventories to verify stock accuracy.
• Record inventory movements, adjustments, and receipts in the inventory management system.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Assist with the organization and arrangement of stock within the warehouse.
• Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and valuation.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of all inventory items.
