Job summary

Amana Living is seeking a proactive Physiotherapist to provide care at the Mosman Park Care Centre. You will assess residents, plan evidence-based interventions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance mobility and quality of life.

The role is permanent part-time, 2 days per week, with a 30-hour equivalent per fortnight roster. Prior experience in aged care and APHRA registration are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy) degree.
• Current APHRA registration.
• Experience leading teams and motivating others.
• Ability to prioritize workload and manage time effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to obtain National Police Clearance and NDIS Screen.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mobility and falls risk assessments.
• Develop holistic, resident-centred care plans with the Amana Living team.
• Provide and evaluate individualised physiotherapy interventions and equipment prescriptions.
• Review treatment objectives to ensure efficacy and outcomes.
• Support group exercise programs while adhering to Aged Care Standards.
• Maintain clinical governance and documentation accurately.
