Rosebank College, part of the ADvTECH Group, seeks a qualified lecturer to deliver teaching and learning across programmes, including online delivery. The role focuses on implementing teaching strategies, promoting research and innovation, and supporting student success.

Minimum requirements include an Honours or higher in Corporate Governance/Law, 2–3 years lecturing experience, and strong MS Office skills. Online tertiary teaching experience is advantageous; market-related salary offered.

Qualificações

• Honours degree in Corporate Governance, Corporate Law, or Business Law.
• Master’s or PhD in Law, Corporate Governance, Corporate Law or a relevant cognate field.
• 2–3 years' lecturing or tutoring experience.
• Online lecturing experience at a tertiary level is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver teaching and learning delivery across modules, including online modalities.
• Monitor engagement on the Learner Management System.
• Support students and provide quality feedback.
• Coordinate Programme Coordination Committee meetings and contribute to assessments.
• Contribute to programme improvements (content and assessments).
• Conduct subject/module consultations.
• Marking and timely feedback to students.

Job Purpose:

The role of the incumbent is to facilitate all aspects of the teaching and learning process. The role includes the implementation of the teaching and learning strategies to improve the quality of teaching and learning and meet delivery outcomes and to promote and encourage research and innovation in teaching and learning.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsible for Teaching and Learning Delivery in respect of:

• Monitoring and evaluating engagement on the Learner Management System.
• Students' success rates at modular level.
• Continuous student support and development.
• Online Teaching and learning.
• Programme Coordination Committee meetings.
• Contributes to programme improvements (content and assessments).
• Subject/module consultations.
• Marking on time in order to provide students with quality feedback.

Minimum Requirements:

Qualifications

• Alternatively:Master's or PhD in Law, Corporate Governance, Corporate Law, Business Law or a relevant cognate field.

Experience

• 2-3 years' lecturing or formal tutoring experience
• Online lecturing experience at a Tertiary level is advantageous
