Job summary

Cygnet Hospital Bury Forestwood is seeking a Part Time Activity Coordinator to support young people in our CAMHS services. You’ll work 18 hours per week across three days (4pm–10:30pm) including alternate weekends, helping patients access engaging activities and helping the Occupational Therapist deliver therapy programs.

The ideal candidate will have healthcare experience, an interest in Mental Health, and the ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Experience and/or a passion for working in healthcare and with Mental Health.
• Some knowledge of Occupational Therapy.
• A creative flair and the ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Awareness of recovery approaches and social inclusion (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Encouraging patients to access and become involved in a variety of activities.
• Planning and implementing therapy programmes with materials.
• Contributing ideas, facilitating events and activities safely.
