Job summary

attooh! is seeking an experienced Paraplanner in George, Western Cape, to work closely with a financial adviser and contribute to high-quality planning across risk, investments and estate planning.

You will be technically capable, detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced advisory environment. The role involves preparing ROAs, conducting research, coordinating client reviews and maintaining CRM records, with potential to earn commission and grow within the business.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Financial Planning, Wealth Management, Commerce or related field.
• RE5 qualification is required.
• CFP studies or CFP qualification advantageous.
• 2–3 years of paraplanning or financial planning support experience.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Professional communication skills.

An established and rapidly growing financial advisory practice in George is looking for an experienced Paraplanner to join our team.

This is an opportunity to work closely with an experienced financial adviser and play an important role in delivering high-quality financial planning solutions to clients across risk planning, investments and estate planning.

We’re looking for someone who is technically strong, detail-oriented and enjoys working in a professional, fast-paced advisory environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare financial planning and investment proposals
• Conduct product, fund and market research
• Assist with client reviews and annual review preparation
• Compile Records of Advice (ROAs)
• Prepare quotations across risk and investment solutions
• Maintain accurate client records and CRM systems
• Provide ongoing technical and administrative support to the adviser and clients

What We’re Looking For

• Relevant qualification in Financial Planning, Wealth Management, Commerce or a related field
• RE5 qualification
• CFP® studies or completed CFP® qualification will be advantageous
• Ideally 2–3 years’ experience in a paraplanning or financial planning support role
• Strong analytical and organisational skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
• Professional communication skills

Experience requirements may be flexible for candidates who can demonstrate strong industry knowledge, relevant qualifications and technical competence.
