Qualifications

• Completed Grade 12 (Matric) certificate with a pass in Mathematics and Physical Science.
• A strong aptitude for technical work and problem-solving.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Must be physically fit and able to work at heights and in confined spaces when required.
• A valid driver’s license is advantageous but not essential for entry.
• Willingness to travel to various sites within the Rustenburg region.
• No previous electrical experience is necessary as comprehensive training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist qualified electricians with the installation and maintenance of electrical wiring, systems, and equipment.
• Learn to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
• Perform basic electrical tasks such as connecting wires, fitting sockets, and installing light fixtures.
• Conduct routine inspections and testing of electrical systems to identify faults.
• Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical problems.
• Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations while working on sites in and around Rustenburg.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
• Participate actively in assigned training sessions and vocational courses.
• Ensure all work is performed to the highest standards and complies with electrical codes.
