Qualifications

• Grade 12 with strong Maths and Physical Science.
• Strong interest in electrical engineering and desire to work with electrical systems.
• Ability to understand and follow technical instructions and safety guidelines.
• Willingness to work shifts if required by operational needs.
• Must be able to commute to Rustenburg daily.
• Committed to completing the full apprenticeship program.

Responsibilities

• Assist qualified electricians in maintenance, installation, and repair of electrical equipment and systems.
• Learn and adhere to safety regulations and company procedures.
• Conduct routine inspections and tests on electrical components and machinery.
• Help troubleshoot electrical faults and implement corrective actions under supervision.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Assist with installation of new electrical systems and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent.
• Participate in training sessions and practical workshops to develop skills.
• Support the senior team in ensuring all electrical installations meet relevant standards and codes.
