Job summary

Dante Personnel is seeking a field service technician with hands-on mechanical experience to service packaging machines. The role involves troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair, plus installation and commissioning of new lines at customer sites.

You will provide on-site technical support, complete service reports, and travel as needed. A Matric/Grade 12 and basic electrical knowledge are essential, along with a driver’s licence and passport for travel.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical experience and problem solving.
• Ability to troubleshoot and service packaging machines.
• Comfort with basic electrical concepts and reading schematics.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, maintain and repair packaging machines.
• Install and commission new machines and packaging lines.
• Provide on-site customer training and technical advice.
• Complete service and breakdown reports.
• Travel to customer sites as required.
