Job summary

Tiger Brands seeks a Warehouse/Packaging Store Operator to issue packaging materials, operate forklifts, and maintain stock integrity in our SA packaging stores. You will ensure correct material codes, batches and documentation, and support production needs with timely material availability.

The role requires a valid forklift licence, Grade 12, and experience in a warehouse or packaging environment. You will follow safety procedures and keep records accurate in our ERP/WMS system.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• Forklift operator certification/licence.
• Experience in a warehouse, packaging store or manufacturing environment.
• Experience using an ERP/Warehouse Management System is advantageous.
• Basic computer skills.
• Good understanding of warehouse and stock-control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Issuing packaging materials to production according to requests and validated documentation.
• Operate forklift safely and conduct pre-use inspections.
• Assist with maintaining accurate packaging material inventory and stock counts.
• Receive/put-away packaging materials and ensure proper storage and handling.
• Complete material issue notes and capture movements on ERP/WMS systems.
• Adhere to health, safety and quality procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
