The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5–7 years of experience in operations management, with proficiency in WMS and ERP systems. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for driving performance within our regional hub.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in operations management with a focus on distribution and logistics.
• Proven warehouse operations and inventory control experience.
• Strong understanding of supply chain and transportation management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with WMS and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
• Experience in the Paarl, Western Cape area is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the distribution center, including receiving, warehousing, inventory management, and dispatch.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse and logistics staff.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Monitor inventory levels and implement effective inventory control measures.
• Collaborate with transportation partners and internal departments to ensure smooth and timely deliveries.
• Analyze operational performance data and prepare regular reports for management.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
• Manage operational budgets and control expenses.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers.
