Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a passionate Social Inclusion Advocate to work on-site in Paarl, Western Cape. The role focuses on promoting equality, diversity and inclusion while connecting marginalized groups to essential services.

You will collaborate with NGOs, government bodies, and community groups to foster an inclusive environment. A degree in social work or related field and strong advocacy skills are required.

Qualifications

• Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and build rapport.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to promote social inclusion for diverse groups.
• Advocate for the rights and needs of marginalized individuals and communities.
• Provide support and guidance to individuals facing social exclusion.
• Facilitate access to resources, services, and opportunities such as education, employment, and healthcare.
• Organize workshops and awareness campaigns on inclusion and diversity.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with community stakeholders, service providers, and advocacy groups.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of inclusion initiatives.
• Develop reports and case studies highlighting the impact of advocacy efforts.
• Collaborate with team members to share best practices and enhance service delivery.
• Represent the organization in relevant forums and community discussions.
