Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking ambitious Sales Development Representatives to help open doors and build pipeline across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel—researching target accounts, identifying decision makers and booking qualified meetings, while presenting Blacksmith positively to prospects.

This role focuses on thoughtful outreach, leveraging LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to hit volume targets with high-quality touches and precise messaging.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role, agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
