Job summary

OUTsurance is expanding its telesales team in Centurion to drive conversions from leads and quotes. You will engage customers telephonically, present product benefits, and guide them toward informed purchasing decisions while meeting quality standards.

Candidates should have Matric, FAIS regulatory exam completion, and at least 2 years in insurance sales; prior call centre experience is advantageous. A performance-based salary structure applies in a dynamic, client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Matric requirement with strong communication ability.
• Completed FAIS regulatory exams (RE or full qualification).
• 2 years insurance sales experience preferred / advantageous.
• Previous call centre experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Convert lead/quotes to sales in terms of targets.
• Communicate with dealership account managers.
• Interact with customers to guide products and aid purchasing decisions.
• Talk telephonically to potential clients and inform them of product benefits while maintaining quality measures.
• Maintain in-depth product knowledge to provide accurate information.
• Utilise persuasive techniques to close sales and meet objectives.
• Handle customer calls and emails in a polite, professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Convert lead/quotes to sales in terms of the minimum quantity and quality targets
• Communicating with our Dealership account managers
• Interact with customers to offer guidance, point out products, and assist them in making purchasing decisions.
• You will be required to talk (telephonically) to potential OUTsurance clients and get them interested in signing up by informing them of the benefits that our product holds while adhering to the quality measures in place.
• Maintain in-depth product knowledge in order to supply customers with the best, accurate information
• Utilize persuasion techniques when necessary to close sales
• Handle customer phone calls and emails in a polite, professional, and prompt manner
• Work towards achieving individual and team objectives and be accountable for sales results
• Perform as a team-player, participate in activities contributing to the overall objectives of the organisation

• Matric
• Candidates must have completed FAIS Regulatory Exams (RE or full qualification depending on previous advice giving roles).
• 2 years insurance sales experience - advantegous.

Experience

Previous Call Centre experience in Telesales. Experience in short term insurance industry is preferred.
