Job summary

Sasso Consulting (Pty) Ltd seeks experienced OT Security Specialists to assess, implement and continuously improve cybersecurity controls across ICS, OT networks and critical infrastructure.

Role requires hands-on OT cybersecurity expertise, knowledge of SCADA/ICS security, and ability to align with industry standards such as IEC 62443. On-site Centurion placement with multiple openings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in OT cybersecurity or ICS security.
• Hands-on experience securing OT/ICS environments.
• Strong understanding of OT infrastructure and critical infrastructure security.
• Familiarity with SCADA, PLCs, DCS and HMIs.
• Experience with IT/OT network segmentation and industrial firewalls.
• Knowledge of industrial protocols (Modbus, DNP3, OPC UA, EtherNet/IP).
• Familiarity with IEC 62443 and NIST SP 800-82.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain OT security controls across OT environments.
• Assess ICS/OT infrastructure to identify cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities.
• Develop OT security architectures aligned with industry standards.
• Support secure IT/OT integration and network segmentation.
• Identify security weaknesses in industrial networks and automation systems.
• Coordinate vulnerability remediation with engineering teams.
• Assist with OT threat detection and incident response.
