Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Operations Project Manager to optimize processes and drive key initiatives at its Queenstown, Eastern Cape facility. You will collaborate with heads of departments and on-site teams to deliver measurable improvements in efficiency and service delivery.

The role requires at least 5 years in project management with a focus on operations, knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma advantageous, and strong leadership and communication skills. A relevant bachelor's degree is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management with a focus on operational improvements.
• Lean and Six Sigma knowledge is advantageous.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with cross-functional teams in manufacturing/operational environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects focused on improving operational efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing service delivery.
• Develop detailed project plans including scope, timelines, resource allocation and performance metrics.
• Coordinate with various operational departments to ensure effective implementation of project outcomes.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks or bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
• Facilitate project meetings, providing updates and reports to management and stakeholders.
• Ensure projects align with business objectives and contribute to operational excellence.
