Job summary

Innovazi Consulting is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead branch operations across multiple departments in a dynamic environment. The role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, billings, invoicing, project costing, and inventory control to maximise profitability.

You will drive client relationships, service delivery and supplier management while supervising HR, compliance, and risk processes. Strong leadership and analytical skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12 is required.
• Degree in Business, Operations Management or related field is required.
• Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar senior management role is required.
• Strong experience in operations, warehouse, staff and financial management.
• Experience with budgeting and forecasting is required.
• Inventory management experience is required.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen is required.
• Customer relationship management experience is required.
• Sales and business development exposure is advantageous.
• Project costing and management experience is required.
• Strong leadership, planning, analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills are required.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Valid, unendorsed Code 08 Drivers Licence is required.
• Chemicals manufacturing industry experience is advantageous.
• Syspro and Pastel experience will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage Health & Safety, risk management and legal compliance.
• Assist with quotations, sales and business development initiatives.
• Manage suppliers and monitor supplier SLA performance.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiencies.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly management reports.
• Assist with internal, external, ISO, SHE and customer audits.
• Ensure all operational licences, permits and compliance requirements are maintained.
