GE Vernova South Africa invites applications for an Operations Management Internship. The role supports the SSA Region operations team in daily management, performance improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives, offering hands-on exposure to operational management, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.

You'll work on dashboards, KPI tracking across SQDC, and contribute to Lean/Kaizen activities while gaining practical experience in a global energy business environment.

Qualificações

• Degree in Engineering, Business Operations, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with project planning or reporting tools is advantageous.
• Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, Salesforce or MS Dynamics is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare materials for daily management sessions and Monthly Operating Reviews.
• Coordinate and execute operational projects and initiatives.
• Monitor regional KPIs across Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC).
• Support dashboards, reporting tools and performance tracking processes.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Assist RCA and problem-solving for performance issues.
• Participate in Lean/Kaizen events and continuous improvement activities.
• Assist with administrative tasks, issue logging, and reducing manual reporting.
• Prepare reports, presentations, meeting minutes, and leadership updates.
• Collaborate with sales, commercial ops, parts fulfilment, quality, procurement, and project teams.
