Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking an Operations Management Intern to support the SSA Region operations team in day-to-day activities, driving continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration. This hands-on role offers exposure to Lean practices and performance reporting.

You will gain practical experience in project coordination, KPI monitoring across SQDC, and leadership updates, while developing skills in analytics, problem-solving, and interdepartmental teamwork at a global energy company.

Qualifications

• Recently completed a degree in Engineering, Business Operations, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with MS Project or Primavera is an advantage.
• Exposure to dashboards and operational reporting is beneficial.
• Familiarity with SAP/Oracle/Salesforce/Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
• Eager to learn and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials for daily management sessions and monthly reviews.
• Plan and coordinate operational projects and initiatives.
• Monitor KPIs across safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Support dashboards, reporting tools, and performance tracking.
• Analyze data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Assist RCA and problem-solving for performance issues.
• Participate in Lean/Kaizen events and continuous improvement.
• Assist with administrative tasks and reduce manual reporting.
• Prepare reports, presentations, minutes, and leadership updates.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, parts, quality, procurement, and projects.
