Qualifications

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Operations Excellence Manager to drive continuous improvement and optimize processes within their Randburg operations. This role is critical for enhancing efficiency, quality, and productivity across all operational functions. You will be responsible for implementing lean methodologies, Six Sigma principles, and other process improvement frameworks to identify and eliminate waste, reduce costs, and elevate performance. The ideal candidate is a change agent with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for fostering a culture of excellence and innovation. You will work closely with operational teams to implement best practices and achieve measurable improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of operational excellence programs, including Lean and Six Sigma initiatives.


• Analyze current operational processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.


• Design and facilitate workshops and training sessions on process improvement tools and techniques for operational staff.


• Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of improvement initiatives.


• Collaborate with department managers to embed a culture of continuous improvement and problem-solving throughout the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.


• Proven experience (5+ years) in process improvement , operations management, or a similar role.


• Certification in Lean or Six Sigma (e.g., Green Belt or Black Belt) is highly preferred.


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
