Placements24 is seeking an organised Operations Centre Manager to lead the central hub in Midrand, Gauteng. You will oversee daily activities, ensure seamless flow of goods and information, and drive efficiency across the centre.

The role requires strong staff leadership, strict safety compliance, KPI reporting, collaboration with sales, customer service and warehouse teams, and a focus on cost control and service quality.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct all day-to-day activities within the operations centre to ensure efficient and timely processing.
• Develop and implement operational strategies and procedures to optimize workflow and resource utilization.
• Supervise, train, and motivate operations centre staff to achieve performance targets and maintain high standards.
• Monitor operational performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
• Manage inventory flow, track shipments, and coordinate with transportation partners.
• Implement and maintain robust reporting systems to track operational key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Collaborate with other departments, including sales, customer service, and warehouse operations, to ensure seamless integration.
• Manage operational budgets and control expenses within the centre.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
