Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualify in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering with 5+ years of management experience.
• Business qualification is an advantage.
• Fully computer literate: MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Good administrative skills and strong communication ability.
• Solid knowledge of BRC, HACCP and GlobalGAP requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead teams, motivate people and develop employee skills.
• Resilience to pressure and sound decision-making in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and mentoring to all key resources at the facility.
• Direct, manage and optimize overall facility operations.
• Set policies with management to guide productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
• Establish systems to collect metrics, analyze productivity and set targets.
• Lead development and deployment of packing practices focused on quality and continuous improvement.
• Lead labour relations activities involving the plant.

Requirements:

• Establish systems to collect metrics, analyse productivity and set performance targets that will meet revenue and cost goals.
• Leads the development and deployment of packing practices focused on quality and continuous improvement.
• Leads any labour relations activities involving the plant.
