Job summary

PERNOD RICARD SOUTH AFRICA PTY LTD is seeking an experienced Operations Analyst to provide a single, reliable view of end-to-end supply chain performance across Africa. The role consolidates KPIs, drives cost-to-serve analysis, and supports data governance across ERP and planning systems.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years in supply chain analytics within FMCG, strong cross-border logistics experience, and a proven ability to translate data into actionable insights for executive reviews.

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Analytics or related field.
• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, planning, performance management or operations analysis.
• Strong FMCG experience, preferably in high-volume and multi-market operations.
• Practical experience with cross-border logistics, cost analytics, process improvement, systems and performance reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end supply chain performance visibility across Africa and consolidate KPIs.
• Build and maintain standard dashboards covering OTIF, cost, inventory, lead time, transport, and service performance.
• Translate data into insights, risks, opportunities and recommendations for reviews.
• Validate, reconcile and govern data across ERP, planning, tracking and reporting platforms.
• Monitor data quality and support implementation of planning and operational systems.
• Identify automation opportunities and support adoption of new tools and processes.
• Lead cost-to-serve reviews and analyze logistics spend, variances, and drivers.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to support quarterly/annual reviews and action tracking.

Job PurposeThe Operations Analyst provides a single, reliable view of end-to-end supply chain performance across Africa and converts operational, logistics, systems and cost data into actionable business insights. The role integrates performance reporting, logistics cost optimisation, process standardisation, systems enablement and transformation tracking to improve service, cost, visibility, control and operational efficiency.
