Job summary

The A&R Group in Potchefstroom, SA, is seeking an Operational Trainer to develop and deliver training on safety systems across underground, surface and classroom environments. You will coordinate sessions, assess learners, maintain records and support certification, ensuring operators are confident and competent in the correct use of CAS, PDS, MPL and other A&R systems.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent; mining experience advantageous
• Experience training end users in mining or industrial environments preferred
• Operational knowledge of A&R systems (CAS, PDS, MPL, Railbound, Lamproom)
• Strong communication, facilitation, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and follow standardised training material across underground, surface and classroom environments

Responsibilities

• Deliver training according to the approved schedule and requirements
• Coordinate venues, equipment, materials and communication with stakeholders
• Deliver engaging theoretical and practical training on A&R safety systems
• Maintain training records and support the certification process
• Provide feedback to improve training material and user guidance
• Work with Technical Trainers, site personnel and Training Manager
