Crossing Hurdles is seeking an experienced contributor to open-source projects to help build robust, scalable software and improve documentation.

You will contribute production-quality code, review changes, and collaborate with diverse teams to align deliverables with project goals. A strong OSS track record and familiarity with GitHub or GitLab are essential, as is comfort working on large distributed codebases and exploring AI-enabled systems.

Qualifications

• Have strong relevant experience in contributing to open-source projects.
• Applicants must have clear open source contributions and profiles like GitHub or GitLab.
• Experience with C++, Python, JAVA, GoLang, Typescript, or Rust is required.
• Previous experience working on large-scale, distributed codebases is preferred.
• Familiarity with modern AI or machine learning systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute production-quality code, reviews, and documentation to open-source repositories.
• Design, implement, and optimize complex algorithms and system components.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
