Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Telecom Billing Specialist in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. The role focuses on end-to-end billing operations, including data processing, invoice generation, and reconciliation, with on-site collaboration across finance and operations teams.

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance and at least 3 years in telecom billing, with strong Excel and data accuracy skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years in billing or financial operations, telecom preferred.
• Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.

Responsibilities

• Manage the monthly billing cycle for telecom services.
• Process usage data, service orders, and customer information.
• Generate and distribute invoices in line with billing policies.
• Reconcile billing data with revenue reports and financial records.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and customer queries.
• Configure and maintain billing system parameters (rates, discounts, service codes).
• Collaborate with sales, customer service, and technical teams on billing issues.
• Assist in developing and implementing new billing processes and enhancements.
• Prepare regular billing reports for management, highlighting metrics and trends.
• Ensure data integrity and security within the billing system.
